POS1488 LUPUS DAMAGE INDEX REVISION – INITIAL ITEM REDUCTION PHASE
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background An international initiative is underway to develop a revised systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) organ damage index (SDI) using multi-phase process that supported by the SLE International Collaborating Clinics (SLICC), American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and Lupus Foundation America (LFA). The first two phases (evaluating construct item generation through literature review an Delphi exercise) were previously reported [1,2] , 220 candidate items generated. Objectives To report initial reduction phase results five-phase for developing SDI. Methods two-part exercise asked experts patients rate how appropriate they inclusion in SDI on 9-point Likert scale (where 1 = not at all 9 completely appropriate) considering new [1] . definitions plain English provided patient representatives. In part round, participants suggest any additional items. subsequent presented their own rating, median scores 25 th -75 percentiles each item. They given opportunity revise rating. Items with ratings less than or equal 4.0/ 9.0 considered removal. Results A total 143 out 146 who completed round invited rounds. Completion rates second third rounds 95% 91.7% respectively. Appropriateness rating included full range scoring possibilities from 9. Participants suggested 53 potentially items, however only 6 retained, as others duplicates invalid. 226 re-rate appropriateness. There was stability terms summary Thirty-six had score 4. Figure shows number identified different stages project. All original retained group appropriateness 7, 8 9; exceptions upper gastrointestinal tract surgery (median 5) osteomyelitis 5). Conclusion methods reduced consideration. 1996 [3] this step. Further steps are now refine rationalize list. References [1]Johnson, S. R et al. (2021). Evaluating SLE. Arthritis Care Res. METHODS A total of 148 patients with jSLE have been followed in the pediatric rheumatology clinic and section at Cairo University. T...
متن کاملAn instrument to assess quality of life in relation to nutrition: item generation, item reduction and initial validation
BACKGROUND It is arguable that modification of diet, given its potential for positive health outcomes, should be widely advocated and adopted. However, food intake, as a basic human need, and its modification may be accompanied by sensations of both pleasure and despondency and may consequently affect to quality of life (QoL). Thus, the feasibility and success of dietary changes will depend, at...
متن کاملThe five item Barthel index.
OBJECTIVES Routine data collection is now considered mandatory. Therefore, staff rated clinical scales that consist of multiple items should have the minimum number of items necessary for rigorous measurement. This study explores the possibility of developing a short form Barthel index, suitable for use in clinical trials, epidemiological studies, and audit, that satisfies criteria for rigorous...
متن کاملItem Consistency Index: An Item-Fit Index for Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment
An item-fit index is a measure of how accurately a set of item responses can be predicted by the test design model. In a diagnostic assessment where items test student mastery on a cognitive model of skills, such an index is needed to determine the alignment between the item responses and skills that each item is designed to measure. In this study, we introduce the Item Consistency Index (ICI),...
متن کاملDevelopment of Elderly Quality of Life Index – Eqoli: Item Reduction and Distribution into Dimensions
OBJECTIVE To describe item reduction and its distribution into dimensions in the construction process of a quality of life evaluation instrument for the elderly. METHODS The sampling method was chosen by convenience through quotas, with selection of elderly subjects from four programs to achieve heterogeneity in the "health status", "functional capacity", "gender", and "age" variables. The Cl...
